About the author

Michael Pardy lives on the Mornington Peninsula in the heart of Australia’s best links golf district. He plays regularly at Portsea, Dunes and Bay Views. He says that looking at the beautiful scenery all around helps soothe all those mishits and dashed chances.

Michael studied Literature and Linguistics at University of Melbourne and is a lifelong writer. He has written plays, short stories, a novel, a comic book, user guides, help text, marketing copy and poetry. Always poetry.

His new book, “Only Golfers Can Understand” is the first time a single poet has created a volume of work entirely about golf.
